Male | Age: 67 | Height: 6' | Current U.S. president, former national security advisor, CIA specialist, and Marine
Jack Ryan's father was a World War II vet, and Ryan followed in his footsteps: after graduating from Boston College with a degree in economics and a minor in history, he became a lieutenant in the marine corps. However, after an incident at the age of 23 that left him injured, Ryan became a stockbroker. While working on Wall Street, he meets Cathy, a medical student who will become his wife. They have four children together. Cathy connects him with a doctor who operates on Ryan’s injured back, healing him. This allows Ryan to accept a position at the U.S. Naval Academy teaching history. It’s during this time that he starts working with the CIA as an analyst; Ryan climbs the ladder to become the deputy director of the CIA. From there, he becomes involved with the administration and accepts a role as national security advisor to the president. Eventually, he becomes vice president and, finally, president of the United States.
Jack Ryan’s newest adventure, Tom Clancy Power and Empire, comes out on November 28, 2017.
