You-Jeong Jeong
You-Jeong Jeong, is the award-winning author of four novels, including The Good Son, a #1 bestseller in her native South Korea, and Seven Years of Darkness, which was named one of the top ten crime novels of 2015 by the German newspaper Die Zeit. Her novels have been translated into six languages.
Chi-Young Kim (translator) is the translator of Please Look After Mom by Kyung-sook Shin, The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly by Sun-mi Hwang, and The Things You Can See Only When You Slow Down by Haemin Sunim. She is the recipient of the Man Asian Literary Prize (2011), the 34th Modern Korean Literature Translation Award (2003), and many grants from the Daesan Foundation and the Literary Translation Institute of Korea.
