Anbara Salam

Anbara Salam is a research associate at the University of Oxford and has a PhD in theology. She is named after her great-grandmother, a feminist translator and writer who was the first Lebanese woman to remove her hijab in public. She's half-Palestinian and half-Scottish, and lived in Lebanon for a year and traveled extensively around the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.
