Clara Parkes and Her Passion for Knitting

If you are familiar with the knitting and artisan world, then you know Clara Parkes’s name.  Clara is most recognized as a teacher and author of several bestselling knitting instruction books, as well as the founder and publisher of knittersreview.com (amongst many other things). But did you know she has written memoirs, too? And even narrated the audio editions of those memoirs herself?  In her own voice, Knitlandia and The Yarn Whisperer are Clara’s stories of adventure – she takes you through many of her journeys as she travels near and far to feed her passions.  These stories are funny, entertaining, and might even inspire a little travel for you too.

In Clara’s interview on the podcast THIS IS THE AUTHOR, she mentions that knitters like to listen to books while they knit – well she has certainly given us a treat!  There are no better books to listen to while knitting than audiobooks about knitting! Download this free pattern from one of Clara’s knitting books and settle in for a very enjoyable afternoon with great listens and an exciting new project to work on!

Here is some more information about Clara’s new listens for you to enjoy during your upcoming projects:
