Love is in the air for the high-flying protagonists of Denise Williams’ upcoming romance novella series, available first as audiobooks! Get ready to crush hard on The Love Connection, The Missed Connection (on sale May 5, 2022), and The Sweetest Connection (on sale June 7, 2022).
All three novellas will also be available as ebook editions from Berkley Jove following the audiobook publication. Denise Williams’ debut novel How to Fail At Flirting launched her to the top of romance readers’ lists, and this new audio-first romance trilogy set in and around an airport features more interconnected stories of love, longing, and missed connections.
Williams continues to make her mark within the romance genre, presenting multicultural stories featuring women of color that are as heartwarming as they are heart-racing.
In The Love Connection (narrated by January LaVoy and Shane East), Bennett, a professional risk assessor, finds his life of carefully planned stability crashing down when he finds an escaped puppy and returns it to Ollie, an enchanting pet groomer at an airport.
The Missed Connection follows two strangers who share a romantic New Year’s Eve night together in an unromantic setting when they find themselves stuck in an airport during a weather delay. Months later, they are surprised when they discover they’re professional rivals who have been assigned to work together.

Denise Williams wrote her first book in the 2nd grade. I Hate You and its sequel, I Still Hate You, featured a tough, funny heroine, a quirky hero, witty banter, and a dragon. Minus the dragons, these are still the books she likes to write. After penning those early works, she finished second grade and eventually earned a PhD in education, going on to work in higher education. After growing up a military brat around the world and across the country, Denise now lives in Des Moines, Iowa with her husband, son, and two ornery shih-tzus who think they own the house.
