Olivia Gatwood has received international recognition for her poetry, performances, and work as an educator in sexual assault prevention and recovery. She is the author of the poetry collections Life of the Party and New American Best Friend. Her poems have appeared in such publications as Muzzle, Winter Tangerine, Poetry City, Tinderbox Poetry Journal, and The Missouri Review and have been featured on BBC, MTV, and HBO, among others. She is from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
